Some people have passed criticism during the development of "DRIELIJN" on the name of the new system and its denominations of the intervals. The sound is considered not international enough. I agree. But the only dutch word which is internationally known has a very negative sound: “apartheid”. In case of an international acceptance of "DRIELIJN" a few Dutch words with a positve sound will be known all over the world, litterally and figurative."DRIELIJN" is dedicated to a small piece of Dutch tropical heritage where it is possible that people with several ethnical, religious and political backgrounds and so on, live peacefully together.
